Funeral details for Ray Jagger have been made as follows
Friday 28th July
2:30 St. Oswaldtwistle Church Warton
3.30 Beetham crematorium.
Then Morecambe cricket club after!

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the passing of Raymond Jagger.

Ray was an integral part of Morecambe CC for over 60 years. This period involved some of the club’s struggles through 60’s and 70’s through to emergence of the club in 80’s and beyond in to being league and cup contenders.

2nd in all time 1st team wicket takers with 391 added to by 175, 2nd team victims. Representing MCC for over 20 years.

Ray also famously took the other wicket in August 1969 when Colin Hilton took 19 wickets in a weekend against Lancaster & Kendal

Ray was also a previous Vice Chairman of the club and a life member. The connection continues with family members still representing MCC today in both seniors and juniors.
